Another portrait and an article scan
Elena has been busy again, watch her painting a portrait of Barbara Walsh:
And here is a scan of the article featuring some portraits mentioned earlier:

Camera intervalometer
Got my hands on the world’s smallest DSLR intervalometer by Achim Sack
The intervalometer and my handmade adaptor for the Canon 20d I use as a backup camera.
Here is the first timelapse I’ve done using this timer, although the video would be smoother if the delay was a bit shorter:
The timer is so brilliant because of its size and the down-to-earth controls — take the two first shots with a delay and it will continue triggerring the camera using the same interval. Half press the button and it will stop. Adds a bit of the human factor to the finished timelapse in comparison to the more advanced timers you can get.
Can’t wait to field test it on Elena painting ;p
Another beautiful picture by Elena Priestley
A superb oil painting created using the palette knife making the strokes very expressive. Carefully picked colours bring the petals to life, and the creamy blossoms at the top soften the transition to a cooler background.
Original painting is still available, please contact Elena Priestley for details.
The print is now available from Elena’s art shop
